Are you a single male, female or, a couple?
Then you fit the description of all our club members. Perhaps you think you are too young or, too old (sorry, mature). The youngest member (and qualified Open Water Diver) is 11 years old (qualified at 10), and our oldest member is 60 and qualified at 59.
Maybe you are a little apprehensive or, you prefer to dive with a Dive Master, Assistant Instructor or, an Instructor? We can arrange that too. Being a member also ensures that details of forthcoming events and trips are sent through to you via your preferred method of communication, i.e. email, post, 'phone call etc.
We have regular pool sessions every 2nd and 4th Sunday evening each month. We have weekend and midweek trips to inland sites such as, Stoney Cove (Leicester), Leybourne Lake (Kent), Gildenburgh (Peterborough), and coastal trips to Swanage, Poole, Weymouth, Portland, Shoreham-by-Sea, Selsey (from the beach), Littlehampton, and East Whittering, and for wreck fans, the famous Scapa Flow. Trips abroad include, Egypt (Red Sea various sites), Turkey, Greece, Cyprus, Gibraltar, Spain, Maldives and the Philippines.
Regardless of your current training agency whether it is SSI, BSAC, SAA, NAUI, CMAS or, PADI, everyone is welcome.
We insist on all members being polite, courteous and helpful at all times. Our club is operated on a strict 'no politics' basis and contact between other members is only through us unless the other club member indicates otherwise. This prevents any awkward situations arising or potential breaches in HSE requirements.
We meet once a month for a social gathering giving our members the opportunity to get to meet other members for a drink and a chat.
