First Aid International courses cover first aid, basic life support, automated external defibrillation, infection control and emergency oxygen administration in many different settings. Our courses teach resuscitation and first aid skills to business, industry, schools and government departments and the general public or laypersons that respond in emergency situations. First Aid International has many approvals including the GB and NI Health and Safety Executives for First Aid in the Workplace.
The Emergency First Aid course is designed to train individuals and company staff that require appointed person training in basic first aid skills. This course will provide first aid skills necessary to manage a patient that is not breathing normally, is unconscious or is bleeding prior to the arrival of the emergency services.
The Basic First Aid course is designed to train individuals and company staff that require appointed person training in basic first aid skills and require training in the management of specific illnesses and injuries. This course will provide first aid skills necessary to manage a patient that is not breathing normally, is unconscious, bleeding or is ill or injured prior to the arrival of the emergency services.
The Emergency First Aid and the Basic First Aid courses are designed to meet the recommendations of the HSE Health and Safety at Work (1981) Regulations for Appointed Persons in the Workplace.
First Aid International is approved by the Health & Safety Executive in the UK and Northern Ireland.
All AAT personnel are trained, or qualified to teach first aid, defibrillation and oxygen administration. We take your safety seriously at AAT.
