In August 2008 SSI introduced their new Dive Centre Standards for Europe. Within the Dive Centre Standards was the introduction of the Diamond status. The SSI Diamond status recognises SSI Dive Centres that make a commitment to excellence and leadership in the categories of:

Aqua Adventure Training is the first ever UK Dive Centre to be awarded SSI ‘Diamond Instructor Training Centre’ status; in fact we were the first ever SSI Centre in the UK to receive the Diamond status at any level.

Only Dive Centres recognised as the leaders in their marketplace can be considered for the SSI Diamond Status. The SSI Diamond status is a privilege. The goal of this new Dive Centre Standard is to provide more transparency in finding an outstanding Dive Centre. In addition to that, very ambitious SSI Partners get the chance to receive recognition for their performance.

As you can imagine, this is something we are extremely proud of, especially as we were awarded this status within a month of it being introduced.
